The event “Hari Bersama ORC: Stronger Together” was organized by the Outdoor Recreation Club (ORC), UiTM Cawangan Kelantan, Kampus Machang. The main objective of this program was to promote health, happiness and teamwork among the orphans of Rumah Anak Yatim Lilbanat Darulnaim through a series of recreational activities.


This program also served as a platform for university students to practice social responsibility and community engagement, fostering empathy and leadership among committee members.


Program objectives:

1.  To strengthen the bonds of fellowship between the students of UiTM Cawangan Kelantan, Machang Campus, and the orphans at Rumah Anak Yatim Lilbanat Darulnaim, Machang, Kelantan.
2.  To promote a healthy social culture among the students of UiTM Cawangan Kelantan, Machang Campus, and the orphans at Rumah Anak Yatim Lilbanat Darulnaim, Machang, Kelantan.
3.  To help them remain active while performing physical activities.
4.  To instill positive values such as empathy and compassion among the students towards the orphaned group.
5.  To enhance communication and teamwork skills between the students and the orphans through group activities.

Programme Details

• Venue: Rumah Anak Yatim Lilbanat Darulnaim, Machang, Kelantan
• Participants:
• 11 orphans
• 24 committee members
• Total: 35 participants
• Sponsor: The Chicken Rice Shop (meal sponsorship for 35 pax)

Throughout the day, various activities were conducted to ensure active participation and enjoyment among the children. The program included:

• Ice-breaking and group games
• Health and fitness activities
• Team-building sessions
• Creative and fun competitions
• Lunch sponsored by The Chicken Rice Shop
• Closing ceremony and group photo session

The children showed great enthusiasm and energy during the entire event. The recreational games not only entertained them but also helped boost their confidence and teamwork skills. Hari Bersama ORC: Stronger Together  program achieved its main objectives by creating a memorable and joyful experience for the orphans while encouraging volunteerism among university students.
